The house to house awareness started on Saturday the 11th October and Road show was carried out on 14th October 2014. The Tangamano Ground was selected as the venue for launch on 18th October and the RMO Dr. Asha Mahita coordinated the event. The vaccination was launched by Deputy RAS.
All the PR material for social mobilisation and advocacy were distributed to the Lion Members and Municipality officials including health auxiliaries. 150 yellow T- shirts and 130 blue
caps, 2,000 leaflets, 1500 posters, 2 road show banners and 10 cloths banners
and 200 booklets.
The 5 clothe banners were displayed at prominent
places in Tanga and 300 posters were stuck at strategic locations all over
Tanga.
